X-Rays

At CoMo Dental, our patients’ safety is our first priority – that’s why we seek to use the least radiation while caring for your oral health.

Our office uses digital x-rays (radiographs) which, compared to traditional x-rays, use much less radiation to produce an image.

Also, we are very conservative with the frequency with which we make x-rays.  We make check-up x-rays every year only for decay-prone individuals.  With patients that rarely have decay, we often extend that time frame to check-up x-rays every 1-1/2 to 2 years.

By using digital x-rays and being conservative with frequency, we drastically reduce a our patients’ overall exposure to radiation.
